Terms of Service

Effective date: July 15, 2026

Welcome to NeweggHub. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the NeweggHub website, APIs, and related services. By registering, signing in, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

NeweggHub provides discovery, install guidance, publishing, versioning, and related admin features for AI Agent Skills. Features may be beta or experimental and are not guaranteed to be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features, with reasonable notice when practicable (except for urgent security needs).

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must have legal capacity and comply with applicable law. When signing in via OAuth, you must have lawful use of that identity account and provide accurate information.

You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly of unauthorized access. We may suspend or terminate accounts for security or compliance reasons.

3. User content and license

You retain rights in Skills and related materials you upload or publish (“User Content”). You represent that you have necessary rights; that User Content does not infringe others’ rights; and that it does not include malware, undisclosed exfiltration, or content designed to deceive or abuse AI agents.

You grant NeweggHub a worldwide, non-exclusive, sublicensable license to host, display, index, security-scan, cache, and distribute User Content to operate and promote the Platform. Public Skills may be downloaded and used by others.

4. Acceptable use

You must not use the service to:

  • Upload malware, backdoors, credential theft, data exfiltration, or destructive scripts.
  • Publish infringing, unlawful, or privacy-violating materials.
  • Bypass security scans, access controls, rate limits, or access others’ data without authorization.
  • Disrupt availability, attack networks, or conduct abusive load against the Platform.
  • Impersonate others, misrepresent Skill purpose, or use Skills to mislead downstream AI users.

5. Security scanning and publishing

We may run automated security scans during upload or publish, and may warn, reject, or remove content based on results. Scan outcomes are advisory and do not constitute a security warranty or endorsement.

Even if a scan passes, you should review Skills yourself and install them only in environments you trust.

6. Installing third-party Skills

Skills installed via CLI or otherwise are provided by their publishers under their licenses and instructions. You use them at your own risk. We are not responsible for third-party Skills’ accuracy, safety, legality, or fitness.

7. Platform intellectual property

Except for User Content, the Platform UI, marks, software, and documentation are protected by IP laws. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or misuse them except as permitted by mandatory law or written permission.

8. Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We disclaim liability for outages or losses caused by networks, dependencies, User Content, or force majeure, to the extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use or inability to use the service. Our aggregate liability is limited to amounts you paid for the relevant paid features (if any) in the twelve months before the claim; for free services, liability is limited to the minimum required by applicable law.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Platform and affiliates from reasonable losses and costs (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, infringing or unlawful User Content, or misuse of the service, to the extent permitted by law.

11. Termination

You may stop using the service and delete content you control where the product allows. We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access for Terms violations, security risk, legal requirements, or shutdown. Termination does not waive liabilities accrued before termination.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the Newegg entity operating the Platform. Parties should first attempt good-faith resolution; unresolved disputes may be brought before courts with jurisdiction or another forum agreed in writing.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms and indicate changes via the effective date, site notice, or other reasonable means. Continued use after changes means acceptance. If you disagree, stop using the service and delete account content as needed.

Questions about these Terms can be sent through the footer Support channel (GitHub Issues) or your Newegg product contact.
